Food for Life Kickstart 7: Healthy Blood Pressure
Food for Life Kickstart 7: Healthy Blood Pressure
Tuesday, April 25th from 6:30-8:30 on ZOOM
Blood pressure is one of the ailments most quickly impacted by increasing our fiber/plant in-take. The World Health Organization says it’s “the most preventable cause of premature death in developed countries.” It is incredible how our bodies soak up plant antioxidants and phytochemicals like a healing balm. We will be treated to a quick lecture from Lee Crosby, a Registered Dietician at the Barnard Medical Center and Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine in Washington D.C. on evidenced based medical insights, discuss what most fascinated or confused us together, and continue our discussion while watching cooking demonstrations of 3 delicious and practical recipes. You will also receive recipes, PCRM literature on the topic and other helpful documents to keep. It will be filled with insight, empowerment, and fun. So looking forward to joining together with you on Tuesday, April 25th. The zoom link for the class will be emailed to you the day before our class begins.
